Sensei didn’t happen by accident. It’s the product of more than 30 years of building, refining, and reinventing practice management software. As we evolved from our on-premise and hosted products—WinOMS, SoftDent, OrthoTrac, and PracticeWorks—into Sensei Cloud, our focus remained the same: solving the real challenges practices face every day. Our Leadership Team

Ajit is responsible for defining the strategy, enhancing the product, and driving the operations of Sensei’s software portfolio. With more than 20 years of management experience – including as co-founder and CEO of Doctible, a patient engagement platform for dental and vision practices that was acquired by PracticeTek in 2021– he has extensive experience in building scalable products and high performing teams.

Viswanathan holds a MS in Management Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an MBA from UCLA. When not at work, you can find Ajit traveling the world or on a long run.

Dale has served the dental profession for 25 years and has great passion around delivering solutions to problems.  He’s led commercial sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams in dental, orthodontics, and oral surgery for industry leaders such as Ormco and Hu-Friedy. 

Dale attempts to keep up with his wife and three children, but rarely succeeds. Golf has been a huge part of his life and he’d play more if he could. Dale attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a passionate supporter of UNC athletics.

Tamra brings years of experience leading onboarding, and customer support teams and has worked with brands like BMW, American Express, and Weave.  She brings a tremendous passion for the customer relationship to the organization and consistently strives to provide the highest level of a white glove approach to all customers. 

Tamra loves traveling the world and has never met a stranger.  An avid animal lover, she has served as the President her local animal rescue for many years.  Golf is another passion of hers but spending time with her family including her 4 grandchildren is her greatest delight.

Steve oversees finance and business operations that support the company’s innovation and momentum. In this role, he provides strategic financial direction, represents the Company’s growth vision with investors, and positions the company for long-term success. He is a certified public accountant and received his MBA from Syracuse University.

Steve also currently serves on the board of directors for several not-for-profit organizations and enjoys outdoor activities with his family.  
 

Steve Malone

Jon leads our global R&D team building cloud‑native oral healthcare software. With nearly 30 years in dental software development, he modernizes platforms, builds scalable cloud ecosystems, and develops extensible APIs that speed up delivery while ensuring reliability and compliance. He aligns technology strategy with market needs and champions AI‑driven automation and resilient engineering practices. 

Outside of work you can find him building furniture from his base in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Jon Frizzell

Chief Technology Officer


John has over 25 years of experience in the dental industry, partnering with customers to solve real problems and deliver meaningful results. He works closely with executive teams at large organizations to help them navigate change, adopt new platforms, and move forward with confidence.

Outside of work, John spends time sailing around Seattle and the San Juan Islands, cheering on the University of Washington Huskies, and enjoying time with his family. He believes the best perspective, whether in business or life, comes from a steady hand, a clear course, and good people alongside you.

John Soderberg

Global Director of Enterprise Sales


Claire brings over 2 decades of experience leading global software commercialization and implementations across diverse international healthcare markets. She oversees our Practice Management Software portfolio, while managing cross-functional teams.  Claire is a certified PMP, PRINCE2 practitioner, Agile Scrum Master, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is known for her creativity, mentorship, and strong analytical leadership.

Claire runs outdoors and enjoys workouts to stay agile and strong. She can be found enjoying long walks with her dogs who often join us during conference calls.

Claire McCarthy

Senior Director Of Product

Lon focuses on SaaS partnerships and solution design that connect seamlessly with practice management software, delivering measurable workflow value for practices and better experiences for patients. Backed by 20 years in healthcare, dental, and business technology, Lon brings a track record across product, marketing, sales management and operations.

Outside of work, Lon is an avid traveler and a dedicated supporter of his kids’ athletic pursuits. He also invests time in service through his church and community.

Jeff’s professional background spans over 20 years in software companies.  Prior to Sensei, he held leadership roles with Lanyon Solutions, The Active Network, and AMN Healthcare.  His focus is on building a feature rich Payments offering to simplify both customer and payer experiences.

Jeff holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, a MSF from San Diego State University, and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).  A Minnesota native, Jeff now resides in San Diego with his family.  When not embracing the outdoors of Southern California, he is an avid fan of college sports.

Lauren brings more than 15 years of experience in SaaS, with a strong background in driving growth through digital marketing, brand strategy, and customer engagement. She holds multiple undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas, a MBA from Southern Methodist University, and is passionate about building thoughtful, data-driven experiences that connect products with people.

Outside of work, Lauren is a huge sports fan (Hook ’Em) and an unapologetic Bravo TV enthusiast—because she firmly believes life is all about balance.

Debbie is an accomplished senior commercial industry specialist in healthcare IT, with over 25 years of global experience across diverse sectors and cultural settings. Holding an MBA, she excels at driving growth and improving patient outcomes by bridging the gap between innovative technology and real-world clinical needs.
